Our lay counselors are nonprofessional helpers who have been through an extensive training program using the "Exchanged Life" model. After being trained and mentored by a professional counselor, they are equipped to assist others in achieving wholeness and health. They are prepared to walk with you through some of life's common struggles. By focusing on spiritual health and healing, you can experience freedom and joy every day. Discussions are highly confidential and counselors are assigned based on issue and gender.

Staff counselors are also available. Counseling fees are paid for by First Baptist Church, so you will not incur any cost. This service is provided free as a community support.
