Tell us about your family. I met my wife, Emily, at Mississippi State. We were married in August of 2005.  March of 2011 we had our first son, Lucas Josiah, who we call L.J.
How do you see your role in the Church? I am primarily the student minister over middle school (6-8 grade) but my connections reach deeper than that. I feel it is important to be a well rounded minister who can connect with parents, grandparents, and younger siblings of those in my group. I work out of The Bridge and help around the community center wherever I can.
Tell us about the best day of your life. I was standing at the front of a line waiting for the door to open. People were staring at me and I was a nervous wreck. My best friend was behind me in line and my dad was on my right. Then the door opened. I put my hand on my heart and smiled as big as I had ever smiled before and in walked my bride Emily Anne. That and the day in 2004 that the Boson Red Sox won the World Series!
Pets? Two dogs. Halle Berry, a black shepherd, and Biscuit, part Shitzu and part hyper bundle of fur!
Why do you think someone should join our church? Because at FBC people know that they are genuinely cared for and wanted. We are very community minded and do our best to offer a combination of attractive events and the love of God.
Tell something people don't know about you. I love to cook and am good at it. I know my food is good, because I like to eat!
Peter or Paul? Peter. He was passionate about following Christ but would often act before he thought. Man I relate to that!! And he liked to fish.
What do others say about you? He does a good job with middle school but any minute new he'll say someting stupid...wait for it...

What is your salvation testimony? I am priviledged to have a family with such a great legacy for Christ. I attended church for the first time nine months before I was born. I grew up hearing the truth of Jesus Christ. When I was nine years old, I stopped my dad as he was heading out of the door for church and asked him why he didn't preach on John 3:16. He said he had. He took the time to sit me down explain John 3:16-17 to me. That morning in worship service I came forward while my dad was standing at the front and told him I wanted to "be saved." He explained how I was a sinner and I needed to ask forgivness for being a sinner. I told him I needed to do that and that was the day that my dad led me to THE FATHER. Two weeks later I shared my testimony through baptism on Mother's Day.
