Middle School Student Life Mission Camp

June 17-21

DeLand, FL

Cost $320(deadling 5/19)

The middle school ministry will be going to Student Life Mission camp in DeLand, FL, June 17 -21. We will stay at Stetson University and spend our days bringing the hope of Christ to the community with a variety of mission projects. Throughout the week, we will worship with Bellarive and Jeremy Kingsley will share powerful gospel-centered teaching. A $100 deposit is required with your registration.

July 4 Celebration

The FBC parking lot is a great place to view the PTC Fourth of July fireworks. Come out early to socialize with friends and family and enjoy a Hamburger/Hot Dog picnic. The serving line opens at 6 PM. Don't forget to invite your neighbors, friends, and family.

There are also many volunteer positions open. You can sign up in the Gathering Room on Sunday mornings or online here.

Church members are encouraged to bring a dessert to the Picnic. Desserts can be dropped off at the Fellowship Hall anytime on July 4 betewwn 10 AM and 5 PM.

During the week of July 8 - 12, students will be led in worship by Carl Cartee and hear from Clayton King. There will be many activities for those who like to be outside (Epic World Domination, adventure courses) and those who prefer more creative activities (Studio work, Jam Lounge). A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at registration.

Encounter

Begins August 19

God created us for relationship! He is a lover who desires to express His love in communion. Jesus expressed this in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Many believe "eternal life" means "heaven," however, we begin to experience it once we believe in Christ.

Starting August 19th, Grace Life Ministry will offer a nine-month opportunity called "Encounter." The main thrust of this course will be to encounter God at a deeper, more intimate level. Our prayer is that participants will know in "Encounter" how much God loves them and how secure they really are in that love. You will also experience sharing that intimate relationship with others in your daily life. "Encounter" will consist of classroom, outside reading, journaling, connecting personally with a Life Equipper (mentor/coach), and building healthy relationships with fellow sojourners.
