  • CareMinistryCare Ministry

Our Care Ministry is designed to show love and concern by meeting a broad spectrum of physical and emotional needs. Our team is there to love and support those in the hospital and their concerned loved ones. We also have several support groups in place to help individuals and families who are in difficult places in their lives and need a place to renew, recoup, and recover.

The statistics are astounding. Only 32% of Americans would be able to cover a $5,000 emergency without going into debt, 49% could not cover one month's expenses if they were to miss a paycheck, and 70% live paycheck to paycheck. If you fall into one of these categories, or would simply like to learn how to manage your money better, FBCPTC offers financial counseling with Tom Pape, a Dave Ramsey Certified Financial Counselor. To get started and schedule an appointment, call Tom at 770.487.8133 ext. 1207.

  • Grace Life Ministries

"Equip believers to experientially operate in Christ's fullness, so that they may express His life to the building up of the body of Christ."

The heart of Grace Life is to connect people with the true source of life, Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 10:10 that He came to give abundant life. Life is not found in other people, circumstances, power or possessions. Life is found in a real-time relationship with a real person.

In the heart of every believer there is a desire to know God and experience His righteousness and holiness. All of us as believers want to grow deeper in our relationship with Christ. Grace Life can help challenge and encourage you in your desire to abide in Christ.

Sometimes, as we experience the normal frustrations of life, we may discover our coping skills aren't working. Those coping skills are directly tied to our belief system. God wants to renew our minds to His truth about who we are in Christ and to the dysfunction of our flesh.

Grace Life is committed to walking with you no matter where you are on your journey as you discover the depths of God's work in your life.

    Life Equipping

In Ephesians 4:11-13 the Apostle Paul states that God has given those to help equip believers so they can experience the fullness of Christ and express that fullness in order to build up the body of Christ. Grace Life offers a "Life Equipping" ministry that trains individuals how to disciple others using a life-on-life approach. The life equipper will primarily build male-on-male or female-on-female friendships where they will become mentor, teacher, and coach.

Jesus said in John 15:5, "I am the vine and you are the branches; he who abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." In order to experience the abundant life Jesus promised to give to those who trust Him, the believer's choices and actions must be animated by Christ Himself. This is trusting Christ to be our life! The equipper will help the individual learn their identity in Christ and walk with them as they experience Christ as their life.

    Support Groups

Becoming a part of a small support group of people who are experiencing similar life struggles is often a component of God's plan for our healing. It is too easy to detach from others and not experience the blessing of connecting with people with similar experiences. By interacting with other people, you will learn there are those who understand what you are feeling and who will be able to offer you encouragement.
Grace Life support groups provide and environment for change in the context of community. God has always used community as the backdrop for his work in bringing about growth in people's lives. Our support groups offer a setting designed to address specific life issues such as: Divorce, Grief, Addictions, Co-dependency and marriage issues.

    Counseling

Grace Life Ministries has partnered with Christian Families Today (CFT) in Newnan for their counseling needs. CFT exists to educate and encourage men, women and children in how to build biblically healthy lives and families. They use the Exchanged Life model of discipleship counseling.

  • 2013 Encounter Encounter

God created us for relationship! He is a lover who desires to express His love in communion. Jesus expressed this in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Many believe "eternal life" means "heaven," however, we begin to experience it once we believe in Christ.

Grace Life Ministry offers a nine-month opportunity called "Encounter." The main thrust of this course will be to encounter God at a deeper, more intimate level. Our prayer is that participants will know in "Encounter" how much God loves them and how secure they really are in that love. You will also experience sharing that intimate relationship with others in your daily life. "Encounter" will consist of classroom, outside reading, journaling, connecting personally with a Life Equipper (mentor/coach), and building healthy relationships with fellow sojourners. For more information, Contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
